Legacy of Giving: Walk for a Clean Water System in Burundi

The average distance a person in the developing world walks to get clean water is 3.7 miles in one direction
Every 20 seconds a child dies somewhere in the world from a waterborne illness.
884 million people lack access to clean water—that’s almost 3x the population of the USA.

Legacy of Giving Fundraising Goal: $35,000 to build a clean water system in Burundi, Africa!

nThis number includes all 33 Legacy of Giving participating schools make up of 23 AISD • 7 Catholic • 2 Muslim • 1 Jewish Schools

Kealing Middle School’s Legacy of Giving Fundraising Goal: $2,500

n$2 is the cost of a cup of coffee at Starbucks
n$2 is the cost of a Taco Bell meal deal
n$2 is the cost of  a pack of gum
